Who we are
Our mission
Helping Catholic families open their Bible, and understand what they read.
Momentum Books publishes faith books and Bible companions for everyday Catholics and Christians. We started with a simple observation: many of us have a Bible at home, received at a Baptism, a First Communion or a Confirmation, and very few of us feel confident opening it.
Not because the desire is not there, but because Scripture can feel intimidating. Who wrote this book? When? What is it really about? And why do so many study guides skip seven of the books in a Catholic Bible?
What we make
We create clear, faithful and approachable companions that sit next to the Bible you already own. Our flagship, The Catholic Bible Companion, gives one simple page to each of the 73 books of the Catholic Bible, including Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch and 1 and 2 Maccabees, so you can understand the context before you read.
Alongside it, our catalog includes devotionals and reading guides for women of faith and for readers who want to go deeper into Scripture.
What we believe
- ✝Scripture belongs in everyday life, not only on a shelf.
- ✝Understanding comes before devotion: when you know what a book is about, you read it with your heart.
- ✝Plain language, no jargon, and respect for the Catholic tradition.
- ✝Every reader deserves a guide that covers the whole Bible they own.
Our promise to you
